A bit better than Deadly Games. A mad scientist supervillain type comes up with a good idea. If you can't stop Superman physically, remove him from the scene. He introduces a virus that Superman will be immune to via a dog, so that he has to isolate himself.
This allows a bunch of heavily armed hoods to do a lot of daylight robbery. Superman and STAR aren't completely stupid though, and come up with some ideas, and Lois tracks down a cure with the help of a UFO nut, after realising that there is something alien in this virus.
