This final Exiles collection contains the last 11 issues of the series (#90-100); the final leg of the series is by X-men legend Chris Claremont. As a conclusion to the series, it's underwhelming. The final two arcs are a bit overlong, with both depicting alternate takes on Fantastic Four characters that end up going nowhere. The storylines actually end in the X-Men: Die by the Sword miniseries, which also serves as a finale for New Excalibur, with only a supporting role for the Exiles, and which will be incomprehensible to any readers unfamiliar with Captain Britain and Excalibur stories from the 80s. Issue #100 is the conclusion to the series proper, naturally leaving it open-ended for further stories; the Exiles: Days of Then and Now one-shot serves as a more fitting tribute to the series, with each chapter drawn by a different artist. If you're a hardcore completest, it's recommended.
