About the Artist

San Francisco Bay Area based 50 Millisecond began as a song writing collaboration. In 2003, Mark Marinozzi (former front man for Highway Star and other bands) began searching for musical collaborators to meld his powerful vocal style and lyrics with elements of rock, funk, jazz, trance and electronic grooves. After hearing a few of these early recordings, music veteran Scott Jamar joined the collaboration as Bassist/Cellist, co- song writer and co-producer, laying down a tasty low frequency groove. Mark and Scott have continued to evolve the musical style of 50 Millisecond into more intense, energetic and moody melodies, fusing Power-Pop with Rock, Funk, House/Trance and middle-eastern instruments and progressions. The team added David Ruedger as Rhythm Guitarist and co-producer. DaveÕs contribution raises the bar and his professional and passionate approach to music are a very welcome addition. Recent additions to 50ms are Bob Wolffe playing drums and Drew Youngs as Lead Guitarist and co-producer. The fruits of their collective effort is Exit, 50 MillisecondÕs inaugural release, self-published on their No Cake Record label. The release was recorded and mixed by Dave Ruedger (sofajunkie.com) and Drew Youngs (earthwire.com).
