Why make a live album? Many artists do not think about this question carefully enough. A live album needs to be more than studio versions of songs done infront of an audience. It needs to offer something new. It has to keep the initial beauty of the songs, but needs to add something special, something you can't get [with better sound quality] on the normal LP. I hate to be ripped off by bands who want to peddle me with shoddy, screetchy live versions of their songs that only serve to show how little talent they actually have.
The live album is the ultimate test of an artist - and man o' man did Leloup ever pass it with flying colors. In my opinion, this is one of the best live albums available. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Leloup is now no longer a musician, he is an artist.

Simplement excellent, July 2, 2005

Cet album posthume est tout simplement merveilleux. Il nous lègue quelque chose de sincère, de vrai. Cet album live comporte plusieurs pièces chantées tout autrement que sur les autres albums. C'est donc redécouvrir The Wolf, aussi bien dans la musique que sur le DVD. Un personnage qui a marqué le Québec d'aujourd'hui.
