This album didn't sell as well as expected, so the band unfortunately had to break up shortly after the release of their debut CD.
But that doesn't reflect the quality of this album in any way- it is EXCELLENT. With talented singer/songwriter Jason Foust at the helm, this creative blend of pop, rock, and worship succeeds in proving that Exit East had a unique and fresh sound.

I had the pleasure of seeing this band live and meeting them, and I have to say that these guys are the real deal: they have a passion for what they are doing and a true heart for the cause of Christ. I will be forever baffled as to how such a magnificent band didn't make it, but I look forward to seeing what Jason Foust has in store for us next.

I highly recommend this CD for any Christian rock fan, as well of any fans of bands like Matchbox 20.

I first heard this group while reviewing recommended selections at Amazon, while looking for other selections. I ordered a used copy and will gladly pay full price for their follow-up album! Their music has a message that speaks to all music lovers. Their sound is main steam, but somehow unique. Buy it you won't regret it!

Exit>East has put out an incredible album in this self-titled debut. Its unlike anything else you'll hear in Christian music, or any music for that matter. While still rock/pop, they have developed their own sound blend, with excellent musicianship and creativity. Each song is unique in its own way, its an album you can listen to over and over without getting bored with it.
Above all, they sing about Christ, which is the best thing about it.
If you like good music, but this album!
