Designs of butterfiles in this book are suited for beginning counted cross stitch. There are 20 black and white charts with separate outline charts. There are few color images, but all of the butterflies have the Latin name and many have the common name. The charts are concise and easy to follow. Instructions are good for beginning stitchers and there is an embroidery cotton floss conversion chart.
