About the Author

Cathy Johnson-Delaney, DVM, a graduate of Washington State University, is a veteran of 17 years in laboratory animal, exotic and avian pet and zoological medicine. She is senior veterinarian at the Washington Regional Primate Research Center and serves as associate veterinarian at the Exotic Pet & Bird Clinic, Kirkland, Washington. She is a frequent author and speaker on exotic animals.

This book is very important for the exotic animal practicioner. The division in species makes very easy to find the information required, and the charts are very useful. The book contains only necessary information, so the text is short and specific. Another good factor is the size and cover of the book, easy to carry.
