I think that anyone who has the slightest interest in decorating the interior or outdoor spaces of their homes should read this book. It is full of interesting ideas on how to decorate with exotic furniture, textiles, wallpapers, lighting, table settings, etc. Lots of good instruction what to do, what not to do and where and how to shop for those exotic treasures.

This book has become a staple in my day to day life. Whenever I have a problem trying to figure out if something matches with the room then I just turn to this book and all the answers are right there in front of me. For anyone who has a house that they constantly decorate, I would definetly recommend this book. It is a must have and a must read. Sara Bliss has an amazing perspective on the world of design. A wonderful, up-to-date sourcebook of global style.

I have always been wondering how to integrate my Indian and Middle Eastern decorations into my 19th century American townhouse. This book really helped with fantastic pictures and insightful text. A must read for any person that is serious about interior design.

My boyfriend bought me this book because I love to travel. This book helps to to incorporate all of my treasures into my home. The illustrations are gorgeous and the countries represented are widely varied. I can't wait to get started on another project.

This book is fantastic! It has beautiful pictures and explains how to put together a great looking room using furniture and fabrics from around the world. I totally recommend it!

SOUNDS brilliant doesn't it? Who doesn't want to bring all the beauty and awe and memories of their global travels into their homes to interact with daily? This gives no useful, thoughtful, original ideas. It just blabbers to make a book. If you haven't got anything to say, you just like real style instead of all this mass produced cookie cutter crap, then you need a lot of photos and these are mediocre and too few to make up for the severe lacking in the writing section.

I really like this book!Not only did it give me some new decorating ideas,but it also took me on an adventure while browsing different decor in various countries.
Exotic decorating can be expensive and difficult at times, but this book offers ideas and suggestions that can take that away.I would also recommend it to a Beginner Designer.
