I love the Lords and have all their stuff, but this cd really disappointed me. I do like some of the songs, but not too many. The bonus track is definitely the best and I am VERY surpised I haven't heard it on the radio. If you are going to buy your first LOA cd, do not make it this one. Get Lust or Voodoo-u first. Those are the best of them all. Then you can get this one after you see what the Lords really can do!

Ummmm....This cd, this band blow me away. Between Praga's solo work(which is brilliant) and the the whole catalog of Lords material its obvious that they are far and away the best out there. This remix cd is so good it makes me happy in the pants. The new songs are amazing the remixes are top notch, the whole vibe of this cd is the Lords through and through. If you didnt like this cd you haven't a clue.

Decent Remix album,
This review is from: Expand Your Head (Audio CD)
As far as remix albums go, this one is decent. I love the Lords of Acid, and was a little disappointed to find out that this was not all original music. But these days, you get what you can get. If you haven't listened to LOA before, go get Lust and get hooked by that. Then you'll be able to appreciate this more.

Ooooohhhhh, how I love the Lords of Acid. Generally, I have lost faith in remix CDs, but this one kind of restores it for me, or at least partially. They're just so energetic, entertaining, and graphically sexual in a very tongue-in-cheek way. It works so well, and I believe that because of that, this band has it's own unique sound and yummy little flavor. Oh, yeah. LoA is lovely. Praise the Lords. Amen.

remixing the mixed up,

This is a decent remix album, not the greatest but O.K. Some of the mixes you can find on the singles, but all in all it's good. Try not to pay more than $10 for it though. It's a nice little dance album but nothing too special. The bonus track at the end though( a cover of "Lady Marmalade") is pretty cool.

Fun to listen to,

First of all, if I could have given it 4.5 stars, I would have, but it just barely falls short of 5. Anyways, that said, Expand Your head is a really fun album to listen to. Don't buy it looking for profound lyrics or thought provoking sounds. Do buy it if you just wanna listen to some mindless music with a fun beat and some raunchy lyrics. It's sure to stick in your head for a while after listening to it. My personal favorite is track 1, Am I Sexy

Blah.. nothing new really...,

The new tracks are pretty good, and a few of the remixes are cool, but it seems they just keep remixing the same old songs, which gets old. I like the orginals better, to be honest. But a few of the remixes are quite amusing, but don't expect anything to make u go: HELL YEAH!

This is a great REMIX album, with all sorts of different styles. Ravers, listeners, dancers, EVERYONE can appreciate at least something here. Best of all, though, is the secret(?) 17th track- It makes me very, very, (um, what word should I use here?) "happy"...

Good....but it can't compare to "Lust" or "Voodoo-U",

I had purchased the single for "Am I Sexy?" and was very disappointed. Therefore, I was quite hesitant about buying the whole album. There are some good remixes, but they can't compare to the original tracks. This is for the faithful LoA fans only.

The best Lords of Acid cd ever!!,

This review is from: Expand Your Head (Audio CD)
I have been a hardcore LoA fan since for 2 years and I have all their cds. I was a little dissapointed with Our Little Secret and the Am I Sexy single, and for a while I thought that they had lost their "touch". Boy, was I wrong! This new cd totally kicks the ass of any cd out there. This is the best cd in my collection and more than likely, it will stay that way. The new tracks are totally awesome and the mixes are sweet too. Good job LoA on another AWESOME cd.
