This review is from: Expanding a Digital Content Management System: for the Growing Digital Media Enterprise (NAB Executive Technology Briefings) (Paperback)
This book is very concise and to the point. Content management is very relevant in today's information economy. If you need to develop a system that is all about organizing, collaborating, and publishing information, then it behooves you to consider a CMS system instead of just developing another web site from scratch using general purpose tools and technologies. This book targets executives as concepts are introduced and case studies are illustrated here. There is not much detail on particular technologies or products so it can't help you once your RFP is finished but it can help you author the RFP. There is a lot of focus on keeping the project on target with the business needs of the organization. |
