Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Susan Rae Ross is obviously a serious practitioner. This book is not for the casual fundraiser, nor is it for the beginner. It's a comprehensive look at the world of corporate non profit relationships, and it covers theory and practice - good practice! Well done Susan. Even though I'm in New Zealand, the book was still absolutely relevant. I'd say this is good enough to be a text book. There are plenty of references, and Susan has done her homework on current literature. She didn't put this together in five minutes!

My only criticism perhaps is that it looks rather dense until you get into it. And for some strange reason there are two tables repeated.

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is THE authoritative handbook on the burgeoning field of for-profit/not for profit partnerships in my view. Great history of this movement, written in a factual and non-judgmental way. Very precise use of words. Glossary- of all things- is fantastic. (Don't think I have ever raved about a glossary in my life before.)

Comprehensive and filled a number of gaps I had in my knowledge and likely would for most people. Only small criticism is her use of examples from the last few years that I think will feel irrelevant and dated very soon. (There is an art to choosing examples that are more 'timeless' when writing a book like this, but very difficult to do.)

Highly recommended!
