Evelyn Angel and her friends are intent on returning to normal everyday life after their recent battle with the vampire Dante Sanuto.

However, more challenges are on the horizon. Evelyn discovers she may be pregnant, but that's not her only concern. She can't be sure who is the father of the child. Love and friendship are put to the test.

Worst of all, one vengeful person threatens to destroy everything Eve has fought for and holds dear to her heart.

About the Author

Jez Strider (1983-Present) is a native of Tennessee. For as long as she can remember, reading has been a big part of her life, taking her out of a sometimes harsh reality to wonderful new worlds. When she was in high school, writing became more prevalent. She worked for three years on the newspaper staff as the Arts and Entertainment editor. After graduation and a few bumps in the road, she enrolled at Penn Foster College with a focus in freelance writing. It took several years before she realized she wanted to give writing a book a shot. In 2011, she was diagnosed with cancer. That fight and becoming a survivor gave her new insight and motivations toward her goals. With the realization that none of us are guaranteed tomorrow, she started work on that elusive book. Vampire's Eve is her first publication. Today, Jez still resides in Tennessee with her boyfriend, cat, and dog. She is currently working on her next book.

4.0 out of 5 stars An ending I didn't expect... March 22, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I want to start off by saying I like Jez's writing style but I didn't like this book as much as the first one in the series. While some areas of Expecting Eternity could have definitely used deeper description, it was a fast paced story and the storyline was good. I have to say that I saw a lot of the book coming, so parts of the "Who Done It?" weren't surprising to me. What I didn't see coming was the very ending (which was shocking, y'all!) and I was left feeling...torn. This series isn't your usual vampire series, by far. I've never read anything even close to it before (which is good! It's hard to find unique story lines, especially in the vampire genera.) But while I did like the story, I have to say I did not care for the ending very much. To me, certain living conditions are non-negotiable/irreversible. But that's just me... And I'm surprised to see Antonio with serious feelings for Fate. I did not expect that at all. The characters just seemed so different from each other...but we all know opposites attract so... I don't know...I just finished the book so I'm still caught up on the surprise ending! Lol! I would have liked the book to have been a bit longer but I didn't feel short-changed. It was a solid story, told in the length it needed to be told in. It was a quick, easy read perfect for late night reading. I look forward to other books by Jez and hope she puts out another series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Expecting Eternity by Jez Strider June 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I just finished reading Expecting Eternity. I love to read and was initially drawn to this book by the cover. Jez turned out to be an exciting writer. While I read numerous books throughout the week I just couldn't put this book down.

It was interesting to read about a vampire who becomes pregnant. How would her new husband handle having a vampire wife, a pregnant wife, and the possibility of a vampire child being born.

When friends are slaughtered it takes on a new twist. Great read and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Looking forward to reading new books by this author in the future.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good reading.... November 8, 2014

First of all I need to say this is a series and you should read the books in order..with that said this book was really good. The same characters and a few new ones. I love the plot and was glad at the outcome. Eve and Marc made a great couple and the love they have is real and honest.
The author did a great job of bringing stories from the past to the front with Eve.
A very good read ....I really enjoyed it!

Like a paranormal fan, I can say that so far this is the worst, most boring more nonsense book I've ever read. I didn't like it at all, I erase it from my Tablet, is awful.
