Expedition Kayaking is an excellent and well written book. The author's writing style will keep the pages turning and a smile on your face. The primary focus of this book is on keeping you safe as you face a multitude of real life kayking conditions. The author uses many examples from his own adventures, and there are a fair number of pictures of him in his P&H Orion kayak. The illustrations that accompany the text are excellent and really go a long way toward helping you to understand the authors message. If you are new to kayaking or new to expedition kayking, you will not want to miss this book. It is a must have book!
