The first cover I bought from Expedition only lasted a little over 2 years so I emailed the company with pictures and a short note. The response was just incredible. They took a few days to email me back but when I replied they sent a replacement out within a few short days.I have never received this good service from any company in my life. I was so pleased I told all my friends about this company.I hope others will support this great company that stands behind their product so well.Service like this is hard to find these days!

Everything about his item works well. This is the first cover I have purchased for my trailer but the second cover I have owned from this material so I have experience as to how long it should last. Based on that experience, I got about five years worth of use from the previous one (note: Same material, different manufacturer).

This cover came in a double boxed package with a cover bag for storage when it's not on the trailer. The cover unrolled easily and had instructions as to how to put it on the trailer. One thing I did a little differently from the manufacturers instructions was to "cross" the tightening straps on the front of the trailer. As you can see in the manufacturers picture, the straps are both horizontal but on mine, the top left connects to the bottom right and vise versa.
There are tabs around the top for attachment to tie-downs and a pull cord around the bottom to keep it snug on the trailer. One thing that can't be emphasized enough is to cover any sharp edges with something so they won't wear through the material. I used bubble insulation and packing tape to keep the insulation attached to the trailer over the sharp edges.

From experience, if there are any sharp edges on the trailer they will tear the cover material very quickly especially if there is any wind at all. As well, if the cover isn't secured to the trailer very well, the wind will wear out the fabric quickly too. So I can't emphasize enough how susceptible this material is to being torn. That said, secure it, cover the sharp edges it will last a very long time.

This RV cover rocks. Fits our 22 ft Hideout perfectly, including the gas bottles & rear bumber. Very high quality, the zippers work really well, It breaths well, so no condensation was found this Spring - we were covered with up to a foot of snow this Winter plus rain & high winds On the downside, it is tricky to figure our front from back,... once you do, make some marks to make it easy next fall.

We purchased the travel trailer cover soon after we got our camper. It went on fairly easy with help from the wife. It is a chore but we wanted to protect our investment. It took about a year before the first clasp broke and soon another froze up. I chalk it up to the Florida sun which is not kind to inferior plastics that this series of covers has.
I looked past this deficiency and the cover did well for ventilation and sun protection overall. The second issue came close to the 2 1/2 year mark with the fabric. Tears started to form in various places. Some of them was caused by the multiple jagged edges on the camper which is not the covers fault. But the roof torn at the seams where there is hardly any sharp points.
We camp at least 4-5 times a year so the cover is on it most of the time. Of course the receipt is long gone with no recourse to try to do a refund. I will be looking for a different company/brand for my next cover.
