Mirror Carter wants nothing more than to live the glamorous life. After coming from a poor background; living in Shady Grove Trailer Park, she would like nothing more than to forget her past. She ia a b!tch in every sense of the word. If you aren't doing what she wants and needs, she will get vindictive. Always in search of a come up by any man that has money. When she meets Brice Towers, handsome and rich owner of the Houston Rockets, and (she thinks)her meal ticket to the millionaire's club.

Mirror soon finds out that "you reap what you sow." With all the people that she screwed over its no wonder that someone wants to seek revenge on her. She also soon finds out that she isn't the only one with a secret.

EXPENSIVE TASTE was a fast-paced read. Tiphani Montgomery makes the point loud and clear be careful how you treat people because it will come back on you --because it will come back around full circle. It did kind of remind me of the black version of "FATAL ATTRACTION turned hood"-lol. A really good read.

I loved this book it was a real page turner. Before I even finished this book I went out and brought the author other books. If they are half as good as Expensive Taste Ms. Tiphani has a new fan

Mirror Carter grew up in Shady Grove Trailer Park and wants to forget her past.She gets a taste of the glamorous life and does what she has to, to keep up her lifestyle.She is very vindictive, greedy and never satisfied.I enjoyed this book.It flowed at the right pace.It captured my attention from beginning to end.Tiphani keep'em coming.Your books are definitely must reads.

I agree with the other reviews. Expensive Taste was a great book with laugh out loud humor. I absolutely loved the way the author developed the characters as well as the storyline. I became a loyal fan of Tiphani after reading her two Mistress books, and I'm glad I did. Expensive Taste was entertaining from the first page to the last, and deserves to be a bestseller. I hope there is a sequel so us fans can see what Mirror does next.

I found reading "Expensive Taste" enjoyable. In the very beginning, I deemed Mirror as a vindictive, greedy witch. After learning all that's she's endured, I then understood why she was such a witch. Her parents were both sick. No child should have to suffer in that manner.

Although Mirror was deserving of his "cold" treatment, Brice was a calculating bastard. I knew his kind gestures and generosity were too good to be true.

The book was humorous as well. KP (Kingpen) was hysterical. He had no couth whatsoever. What a poser. LOL

The little "twist" at the closing of the book was gratifying. I take it a sequel will follow shortly. I look forward to reading it.

I'm rating "Expensive Taste" 3.5 stars. Good job Tiphani.

Living in a material world because she wants to be a material girl is the life that Mirror Carter is destined to be. Born and raised in Shady Grove Trailer Park dirt poor in an abusive household was not a good look. Determined to become the next best thing, by hook or crook she was gonna have everything her little heart desires.

Very beautiful with a big butt and a smile Mirror gets the attention of some of the most eligible bachelors and not so eligible but once she gets her digs into them she finds out they don't suit her pockets and move on to the next. Unexpectedly she meets Brice Tower the owner of the Houston Rockets basketball team instantly her eyes light up "cha ching". Fine as wine with more money than he knows what to do with Brice spoils Mirror and makes her feel like the diva that she proclaims to be. Suddenly bazaar things start to happen to Mirror because of her actions and reality sets in when everything starts tumbling down around her. Will she be able to survive the turmoil that is brought to her attention and still keep up with the Joneses?

Expensive Taste was an easy read with some twist and turns you wouldn't believe. I was drawn into the story from the beginning, very good story line. It makes me think about the bible scripture "Don't do to others, what you don't want done to you". It felt like I was right in the midst of the story looking on to see what was about to happen next. I'm a big fan of Tiphani and looking forward for more things to come from this talented author.

Omg page turner Mirror was no joke at all.She ran her game like a pro but she met her match in the end.What comes around goes around and you get hit double time harder.

In this book, we are introduced to Mirror Carter, an over the top gold digger, who has one thing on her mind...MONEY and the men who are willing to spend it on her! But she will soon find out why they say money is the root of all evil!

An excellent read that I would recommend to all those who believe that expensive taste is the only way to go! I immediately downloaded more of Tiphani Montgomery's books when I was done.
