Despite its low price, this book contains useful insights not contained in many of the standard printed guides. It seems to be very up to date too.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Experience Rome: a travel guide (2012) (Kindle Edition)
This little guide was most useful to me because of the phrase book, not because of the city guide. And because I ordered it as a Kindle version I didn't have the convenience of being able to go straight to the page I was looking for quickly. My recommendation is to always get a travel guide in book form so that you can scribble notes, phone numbers, etc. right on the pages. And as far as the info in the book is concerned, it's individual preference as to whether or not day trips, overnights, eating or sightseeing are the most important to you. This book didn't help me get around Rome quickly and efficiently for a super-fast 5 hour visit.
