I highly recommend this daily devotional for every Christian, new or old in the faith. I have bought this every year for the past 4 years. It is a wonderful way to keep a diary and helpful for looking back on to see your growth in our Lord. Each day you start with a passage from the Scriptures and a commentay about it. I do not always agree with the commentaries, but they do make me think about what the Lord is telling me through His Word. I can, also, look back and see how the Lord has helped me through bad times and also, more importantly, see how he has blessed me through them and also through my good times. I have found this a very helpful tool in my Christian growth.

This is an excellent book for those who like a daily devotional that allows you to think about the verse of scripture that was read and the commentary. It also allows one to write down thoughts for the purpose of keeping a diary. I recommend this devotional to every believer. It is solid in its theology and gives the reader something to consider as he/she progresses in the Christian life.

Excellent to use as a daily devotional guide. Can start anytime during year. Has "user-friendly" indexes in back that are subject and text indexed.

I am very impressed with this combination of Devotional and Journal. Not many devotional journals have brought me to a point where i immediately see what God is teaching me for the time I'm digging deeper. A wonderful combination of daily insight backed by scripture. A must read book if you are searching for a stronger commitment to God, daily. Very blunt or frank. The author's get right to the heart. The journal portion is made available by wide margins for your thoughts to be written down.

I have found Blackaby to be both inspirational and challenging. He tells you where it's at; even confronts one with their shortcomings, but always leaves one feeling that there is hope. In my opinion, he writes in a most encouraging style, provoking within me the desire to be better. I highly recommend anything by Blackaby!

EXPERIENCING GOD DAY BY DAY is a devotional
book that reflects the spiritual insights of Henry Blackaby and is profitable for any Christian person to use again and again. The daily devotions are practical, relevant, and helpful in developing a stronger and closer walk with God. The version with the journaling feature enables the reader to reflect on the devotion and make person observations on how the devotion has impacted
them. It will draw one closer to God and make a real difference in the quality of the reader's spiritual walk. I reccomend this book highly for anyone seeking to draw closer to God and develop a more meaningful devotional life.

Since 2000 this wonderful devotional has been a most important part of my daily life. Henry and Richard Blackaby write in such an easy-to-get-it style that I makes the title--Experiencing God Day By Day--fill your life with understanding and Love. My original copy was part of books sales for our staff to purchase. Using it takes just a few minutes each day. I soon knew that their words were helping me understand the Bible more deeply than ever before. Since then I have given copies to my daughters, family and friends. All who receive it are blessed. Their thanks reflect how it affected their spiritual growth. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to meet Henry and Richard this summer. The Blackabys are a family of Christians that share a very inspirational message. I have a lot of their books BUT this is the best one! The books I have bought from Amazon were to share with friends. It is an amazing gift to give to those you care about.

This is THE BEST devotional you will EVER find! I LOVE it! So many time whatever I am going through in my life and walk with Jesus, the Lord will answer when I read this devotional. It really is like no other! I haven't even had a a full year yet and I have already purchased 2 of them as gifts! HIGHLY recommended~!

This was my devotional for all of last year. I love and highly recommend this book to all. Condition of book was excellent.

I have had many other devotionals, but this is the one I keep going back to. It challenges you to do more, be more and know God more than you ever had. I always buy extra of these devotionals and when someone has a need I give them one of these. I always want to have an extra one available. This book is for the person who really wants a relationship with Jesus Christ.
