I've been in the same women's bible study for 5 years now. This is the best study we have ever done. It helped me understand Jesus in a way I never have. I like the "workbook" approach of making you match verses with interpretations. I have learned where the books are in my bible just by looking up so many verses. I feel closer to God than I ever have before, and much of that was the guidance of this book during a difficult time.

This is truly the best book I have ever read. It can be life-changing if you really LEARN what is written. I have bought several of these books and given them to loved ones and friends. Max L. has a way of taking the things we have heard all of our lives, and helping us learn to really understand them. They no longer are just words, they become feelings in our hearts. I have been blessed by studying this book.

What a treasure! I have just started working in this workbook, but have thouroughly enjoyed it so far. My wife's womens group is using this in their bible study and she is about 75% complete. Everyday and everyweek brings new and lifechanging insight. It is amazing how quickly some of the lessons and experiences from the book can be applied to everyday life. It is as if God is controlling the timing of your work with what is happening in your life. STRONGLY recommended for anyone who wants to better connect with and feel Jesus's love.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this workbook, because the others I've purchased by various othe authors just really didn't teach me or help me.

I believe THIS workbooks is an absolute must have for everyone from the new converts to the old heads in church. It's very "everyday" partical, no theology words in there that you can't understand or need a dictionary for.

It's fun! It's exciting! And most importantly you LEARN how to put into action what is being said in these studies. They encourage you, They reassure you, and it really helps your relationship with Christ.

It has lovely scriptures and little parts that really spoke to me as I was doing this workbook. Max shares from his life and experiences as well so it's very people friendly.

I really think ppl will enjoy and be encouraged by completing this workbook.

This book is fabulous. I so appreciate it's "workbook" type style to get me reading the bible and seeing the reality and references to Jesus' love for us. Being able to take pencil to paper to not just read the bible, but process what is being said is so helpful for me. Max Lucados conversational style is thoughout the book as well giving perspective and wisdom in his very relateable fashion. I strongly recommend this book, for baby Christians on up to the very well versed. Thanks Max!

This workbook arrived just as the stress of facing major surgery was about to overtake me. Within a couple of lessons, I felt such peace and trust. Max Lucado truly uses God's gift to him which allows us to know and "feel" Jesus in our lives. Jesus becomes so real and "approachable". This workbook has been such a comfort and with only 2 lessons to go, I hate to see it end.

A fantastic bible study. Highly recommend it!

Experiencing the Heart of Jesus by Max Lucado is an excellent book for anyone who is interested in growing in their knowledge of Christ. I ordered several copies of this book and am teaching and reviewing it in our adult Sunday school class, it is written in a down to earth manner that even a new believer can understand and relate to. It has generated some very interesting discussions in our class so far and I highly recommend it to every one.

If you are interested in Bible Study to learn more about Jesus, this is a good
in depth study. I would highly recommend it. The ladies at our church are going through the study and feel is has given us some new insight into the heart of Jesus.
You can move through the study at your own pace.

New insights to passages I've read and re-read, but not thought of in this light. I am truly enjoying, and am ordering for my dear daughters-in-law.
