This review is from: Experiential Youth Ministry Handbook, Volume 2: Using Intentional Activity to Grow the Whole Person (Youth Specialties) (Paperback)
You can't go wrong with experiential books, this is the future for churches and schools, no questions asked. Losey continues in this second volume with a lot of the same initiatives, problem solving, etc set forth by Karl Rohnke has as well as Cain and Smith's Raccoon Circles. For those who are familiar with team course facilitation this is a good addition since no one, as far as I know, has a Christian dimension to the teams course approach. I would still buy Karl Rohnke on the Edge Games for Youth Ministry as well as any other book he has, i.e. silver bullets. As as raccoon circles (http://www.frontiernet.net/~teamplay/raccooncircles_2.pdf) Another one is the Great Group Games put out by Search Institute. For those who are hesitant this is a good intro for those not familiar with play theory and the experiential model.
