5.0 out of 5 stars Detailed and to the point. May 25, 1998
Format:Paperback
I have worked in the field of analytical chemistry for several years. This ranks as the best "how-to" text I have found to date. I recommend it to all persons working in chemistry laboratories requiring rapid familiarization with basic scientific principles of separations, intrumentation and named reactions.

5.0 out of 5 stars solid lab book August 7, 2012

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
it's a solid lab book. there is a good intro to the organic lab equipment and also to safety in the lab. each lab's purpose is clearly stated and there is an introduction that explains the theory of the lab. The procedure is written clearly and is easy to follow.
