5.0 out of 5 stars The only foundation piecing book you'll ever need., January 3, 2007

I am sooo impressed with this book. I have struggled with various methods of foundation piecing and even taken classes from some of the people in this book. But finally, all of the methods are in one place and AI can flip back and forth to compare and contrast one when getting ready to start a project. All of the projects are good representatives of that author's method and worth doing even if you are already comfortable with that method. I can't recommend this book highly enough.

As a Paper piecing enthusiast, i found this book to be a wonderful addition to my library. The compilation of techniques used by
well know teacher/author/designers and the projects listed make this a book to reach for when contemplating the next project. Informative history, clear instruction, tips and tricks take much of the guess work out of creating projects that, at first glance, look overly complicated. While not for the rank beginner, anyone who has enjoyed success with paper piecing will welcome this book into their homes.

For anyone interested in foundation piecing, this book provides not just Jane Hall's expertise, but tips and techniques by some of the expert quilters. It gives the reader different perspectives and techniques rather than just "one right way" to piece. The variety of projects highlighted is great. This would be a great addition for any quilt guild library.
