My daughter did books A,B, and C and then book 1 in the Explode the Code Series. She is just finishing up K. When we finished book 1, we started on book 2, but I realized that it might be wiser to take our time and back up to book 1 1/2. I'm glad we did this book. It gave her additional reinforcement. This book adds in additional words similar to those in book 1. I like the whole series and my daughter is practicing her handwriting, learning phonics, practicing her reading comprehension, and learning how to spell all in one program. I think these books are wonderful!

I'm so happy to find a great books like explode the code to teach my kids. Believe it or not my son is n't even in Kindergarten and he 's doing Book 3! He loves it.

I purchased this book (and the first) for my daughter to complete as a review and preview between K and 1st grades. It never made it past spring break - she loved doing the 'homework' and it was well laid out and paced.

My daughter does three or four pages at a time. I think it's enough of a challenge and she looks forward to it.

explode to code is a phonics program that works well for our family. i like the half books for extra practice when needed between books.

Great supplemental work, so glad that I purchased it! My son loves the picture on the front and I haven't used it yet since we are working in book 1 yet. If it is too redundant then I can always pass iton to someone who wants it.
