5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great
I just loaded all 12 disks with no problems. I just completed Human Anatomy in college and bought this software to keep the things I learned in my memory fresh. This set is awesome. The content is current and the graphics are detailed. Buy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars not professional at all
For those people who think it doesn't install on Win XP, IT DOES!!! so why don't you all just get some microsoft updates and SP2 and try again. For those people who think it doesn't install on Win XP, IT DOES!!! so why don't you all just get some microsoft updates and SP2 and try again. ON THE OTHER HAND, this product is horrible from a "serious student" and "professional" perspective. It does not go into very fine detals of all the organs. For example it only names the major bones, muscles, etc. but if you'd like to know where the muscle attachments are, where the groves, necks, trochanters, and fossi are, then just save up this money and get a much better, hard-cover beautifl anatomy atlas. Human 3d is better, but again, not as detailed as grey's anatomy for example which you can buy for 11.95.

1.0 out of 5 stars This product is a substandard piece of trash, November 8, 2005
This review is from: Explore Human Anatomy Professional Edition (DVD-ROM)
I purchased this $40.00 12 cd Set. I wanted a cheap quick reference for my computer. I am a critical care nurse and a student for life.
There is NOTHING good I have to say about this product. It is a piece of trash. It is really not even worth $5.00.
I was so dissapointed I called the company Megasystemsusa and spoke with the ahem "president". He sounded like a used car salesman. He certainly was not going to give me my money back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good investment of your money, April 5, 2005
This review is from: Explore Human Anatomy Professional Edition (DVD-ROM)
I bought explore Human anatomy professional edition the 12 CD collection but I am very disappointed because only 6 of the 12 CDs are installing on xp. Even after they and sent me a third CD to try it didn't work. I got the message it is not compatible with windows xp. I thought it was compatible with xp because it says so on the package. It seems I was fooled buy the makers of professional edition of explore Human anatomy. Please buy something else if you have windows xp if not you will regret it.

Zero Stars. Burn your money instead of buying this product. I tried to install on two different XP computers, Sony and Toshiba and it stopped on the 3rd CD. I was sent a new 3rd installation CD from the vendor, but it still would not install. Maybe it installs on previous versions of Windows. Don't know, don't care. Buyer beware.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected, September 15, 2007
This review is from: Explore Human Anatomy Professional Edition (DVD-ROM)
This is a fine program for children to learn. I was hoping to get anatomical pictures that I could use for lectures. Some of the picture are of poor quality. There appear to be sections missing and it is not indepth. It is markteted for professionals as well as home use. It is definately is not for professional use.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Fun and interesting for the whole family, a bargain at the price." ~JC Angelcraft, February 12, 2007

This 12 CD set has been upgraded by the company and conveniently placed on two DVD's. The company offers to send you the 12CDs absolutely free if for any reason the DVD format does not work for you. I have had no problems with this software in its DVD presentation.

Overall, I find "Human 3D" an excellent, interesting and comprehensive software program for quick reference to medical terms, anatomy of the body, and human physiology. It is filled with guided tours making body systems easier to understand. Its medical dictionary also contains important anatomical references in the Latin and its Physiology "Systems Guide" would give even the novice student a good understanding of the body's biological processes.

Human Body's definitions and exegetical comments are well written and easy to read. It's X-Ray Viewer and its 3D tool makes the study of Anatomy and Physiology fun and interesting for the whole family. A bargain at the price.

1.0 out of 5 stars Low Quality, January 1, 2008
This review is from: Explore Human Anatomy Professional Edition (DVD-ROM)
Terrible product. I wanted to used this to help me study for my anatomy class, but the software sucks. If I could, I would return it. Unfortunately after restocking fees it was more convenient to just leave it sittings on the shelf.

Save your money and buy something else.
