Essential for planning this incredible trek
This is the most up-to-date guide I could find to the Tour du Mont Blanc. I'm doing the trek in July this year (2007) and this book has been essential in planning the route, hut/refuge selections, and for general hiking/access tips. Combine this book with Kev Reynolds book "Tour du Mont Blanc" and the Rando Editions "Pays du Mont-Blanc A1 1:50,000" hiking...

Interesting but not much more
I got this book planning to hike the Mont Blanc this year... An interesting book but not that practical. I got a better deal from the IGN maps I bought once arrived in Chamonix and searching the net for info.
