I bought these for my 4 year old to look out our window at the traffic. The crispness of the image is great, and it is very easy to hold. The binoculars are sturdy, having been dropped several times and the image is still aligned.

There are two focuses - one is the middle knob, which focuses both left and right. It is a bit tricky for little fingers, but my 7-yr-old can work it with no problem. There is also a separate focus on the right lens, to make the image perfectly focused.

The binoculars have a wide enough width that my little one can look through it, and I can adjust it for myself. These are really great binoculars and I have recommended them to friends. Delivery was fast and quick, and seventeen dollars (what I think I paid) is a really great deal. I would definitely recommend these to parents looking for real binoculars that are sturdy enough for their kids. We had a previous pair by a different manufacturer, made for adults, that weren't as sturdy nor as crisp.

I purchased these for my 5 year old grand daughters for their trip to a national park-- the binoculars are not too heavy to carry, come with their own carry case that attaches to a belt and has a strap that can be used to hold the binoculars around the wrist. The magnification is good, the view very clear and I especially liked the lens cleaning cloth that came with the binoculars.

Excellent quality, durable, excellent fit & finish, nice materials, easy-to-use adjustments, comes with a belt pouch. I highly recommend these childrens binos! I think my 4-year-old will be using these for years to come.

Bought these for my son for his fourth birthday. Love them. They are the perfect size. They work great, even for me! They seem very durable. Just wish they came with a neck strap instead of the little wrist strap, but overall a great purchase.

I bought 2 for birthday gifts for 2 young boys. I opened one of them and gave it a cursory inspection. It felt solid, substantial, and well made --- a REAL pair of binoculars made with youngsters in mind rather than a toy pretending to be the real thing. They were just the kind of thing that I look for --- a NICE thing to give and something that's likely to LAST. You can get away with less for sure, but by and large I think the old adage applies --- you get what you pay for. How will they hold up over time? Who knows? But my guess is they will do just fine. As noted, they come with a wrist strap and a carry case with belt loops. I agree with another reviewer that it would've been nice to have a neck strap as well, or even instead of the wrist strap, especially since this is intended for kids. I'm pleased with them.

After trying the Schylling Binoculars (a gift) and Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Binoculars (a purchase), we were looking for something more durable with better viewing quality.

My 3.5 year old daughter and her friends (and friends' siblings), ranging from 2 years old to 8 years old, really like these binoculars. They are made of plastic (the blue sections) and a sturdy rubber (the green sections), so they are drop-proof and feel substantial in your hand. The focus dial between the eyepieces turns smoothly and without too much resistance (contrary to some other reports out there, maybe we got lucky). Images are crisp and the eyepieces are comfortable.

We still have the Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Binoculars, which I think for the quality are a poor value. When friends come over to play they end up sharing the ExploreOne because it is just more enjoyable to use (and for you parents, cheaper by quite a bit).
