My kids love it!!! 'lots of work for mommy to put together but well worth it after all the hard work. Delivered in 5 days. Just a WARNING: if you don't like to assemble, this is NOT for you. The student desk and the chest drawer came in as a whole but the beds has to be put together in a million pieces, almost gave up a couple of times. Otherwise, best deal. Great customer service too, if you ran into any problems. Great deal but a lot of labor involve in bed assembly.

Got the Bed In About 10 days or less, didnt know I would have to help carry it up 3 flights of stairs 350lbs!!:) but the truck driver helped so anyways..... took about 5 hours to assembly, thx to the first review i had a heads up!:)my daughter hasnt seen it yet but it looks so nice and its easy to maneuver around!!! only downside is i cant find the exact mirror and entertainment set to match it!!!! if you find please post thanks!!

We ordered this bunk bed for my 7 yr old son based on previous reviews and the fact that the price was great for the pieces included with the set. The delivery has been quick. We did miss a piece but the shipper shipped it promptly without any inconvenience to me. The bed has been assembled and we have been using it for two weeks now. Here is what I think:

1. The craftsmanship is excellent. The wood solid and quality great. Even the edges of all the pieces have been smoothed out....big plus for that.
2. Ginger color very pleasing.
3. Assembly quite easy (Instructions are very easy to follow). Uses an allen wrench on most pieces. A Power tool is definitely a must for pieces that need to be screwed in.
4. The bed does not creek/wobble that much even though there are so many pieces. I would though recommend that it be put against a wall for safety purposes. Latches are provided to attach it to a stud on the wall.
5. The manufacturer provides wooden slats as well as metal slats (for direct mattress support - no box). We used metal slats with mattress on top. I think this provides better overall support\sturdiness for the mattress as well as gives good space between the lower bed and upper bunk. (If you want to use the wooden slats, do consider that they are not that many and so the mattress will sag in between the slats if you do not use a box).
6. The other thing....there is an L-shaped latch that comes with the bed that you will need to fix the upper bed to the computer desk. If you are using the metal slats then these will not fit as the metal gets in the way of the latch. You will need to buy smaller ones from Home depot/Lowes. I got 4 for $1.XX
7. What I did not quite like about the bed is that the back of the computer desk which faces the side of the bed (and which is visible from the front) is not of the same quality/color as the bed overall, so it presents a little eye-sore. But I am planning to cover it up with some art work of my kids.

Overall I think this is a fantastic bed. I would definitely recommend it for DIY parents.
