My kids love it!!! 'lots of work for mommy to put together but well worth it after all the hard work. Delivered in 5 days. Just a WARNING: if you don't like to assemble, this is NOT for you. The student desk and the chest drawer came in as a whole but the beds has to be put together in a million pieces, almost gave up a couple of times. Otherwise, best deal. Great customer service too, if you ran into any problems. Great deal but a lot of labor involve in bed assembly.

Got the Bed In About 10 days or less, didnt know I would have to help carry it up 3 flights of stairs 350lbs!!:) but the truck driver helped so anyways..... took about 5 hours to assembly, thx to the first review i had a heads up!:)my daughter hasnt seen it yet but it looks so nice and its easy to maneuver around!!! only downside is i cant find the exact mirror and entertainment set to match it!!!! if you find please post thanks!!

We ordered this bunk bed for my 7 yr old son based on previous reviews and the fact that the price was great for the pieces included with the set. The delivery has been quick. We did miss a piece but the shipper shipped it promptly without any inconvenience to me. The bed has been assembled and we have been using it for two weeks now. Here is what I think:

1. The craftsmanship is excellent. The wood solid and quality great. Even the edges of all the pieces have been smoothed out....big plus for that.
2. Ginger color very pleasing.
3. Assembly quite easy (Instructions are very easy to follow). Uses an allen wrench on most pieces. A Power tool is definitely a must for pieces that need to be screwed in.
4. The bed does not creek/wobble that much even though there are so many pieces. I would though recommend that it be put against a wall for safety purposes. Latches are provided to attach it to a stud on the wall.
5. The manufacturer provides wooden slats as well as metal slats (for direct mattress support - no box). We used metal slats with mattress on top. I think this provides better overall support\sturdiness for the mattress as well as gives good space between the lower bed and upper bunk. (If you want to use the wooden slats, do consider that they are not that many and so the mattress will sag in between the slats if you do not use a box).
6. The other thing....there is an L-shaped latch that comes with the bed that you will need to fix the upper bed to the computer desk. If you are using the metal slats then these will not fit as the metal gets in the way of the latch. You will need to buy smaller ones from Home depot/Lowes. I got 4 for $1.XX
7. What I did not quite like about the bed is that the back of the computer desk which faces the side of the bed (and which is visible from the front) is not of the same quality/color as the bed overall, so it presents a little eye-sore. But I am planning to cover it up with some art work of my kids.

Overall I think this is a fantastic bed. I would definitely recommend it for DIY parents.

This is real wood! It is very natural and beautiful. I was worried about the quality, but I couldn't ask for furniture to be made any nicer than this. The instructions leave much to be figured out on your own. We originally put the upper bunk support frame on upside down, which didn't offer enough support for the mattress. We turned it over, and it will now support my husband without even the slightest bow. Not that he sleeps in it - just gets up there sometimes to read our granddaughter a book!

This furniture was purchased for my 8 year old son's bedroom. We have a small space to work with and needed bunk beds (for sleepovers) and a desk and dresser. My husband had it put together in a few hours and my son could not be happier. He now spends more time in his room than he ever has. It is constructed well and the material is nicer than I expected. The wood stain is a very nice color and we are confident this set will last for many years. It is wonderful if you are working with a smaller space and want more bang for your buck. My son says "To me it is like a brand new red sports car would be to a grown up!" "I love it"

Reading previous reviews gave me a good idea on what to expect. The product arrived on time, was exactly as was described in the product description. We were very pleased with the way the product is designed. To our surprise, the chest of drawers and the desk portion were already assembled. It was easy to assemble the rest(easy does not equate to quick). I would recommend that you team up with another person. The end result was a great product for my boys.

This bed looks really good once its set up. The setting up was sort of trying but after a few errors and a few hours it was finished. My son loves it and we were happy with it too.

I highly recommend to get a drill with a hexagon head, worth the time and headaches. It took me 2 hours to set it up with help of my wife on some areas. It came well packed ,missing only two small wood plugs. It looks nice just as the picture, I like that it came with mattress twin frame(black metal rods) sturdy for a kid not an adult. I have not use the full frame yet. Drawer chest looks nice, well made. The instructions were not easy to read, some pictures make no sense, just follow step by step and do full bed build up last, to not confuse parts. My six year old has slept on it for a month and no problems. Happy with purchase, delivery good. It comes on a pallet. Delivery firm carries it to your front door.

I bought this bed because I had a small room and needed an extra bed. It works great for us! I read reviews before I purchased this and was worried about the process of putting it together. Some of the reviews said that it took up to 5 hours and was very difficult. For us it only took an hour and a half and was very simple for two adults to put together. I love that it is made of real wood!

I read these reviews and researched online for 3 weeks before ordering. It arrived very quickly, although was delivered in several pieces on two palates. Even though my husband is a carpenter, it still took him more than 3 hours to put together. This is by far the best price for the bunk bed set, and an even better deal that it included a chest and chair. My 8 year old son loves it. I rated it a 4 because of assembly (which I'm sure is reflected in price)and because my son jumped on the bed the third day and one of the wooden slats broke. I am sure it's not meant to be jumped on, however boys are boys and I felt it should be able to withstand this treatment (he won't be doing it again). All in all it was a GREAT purchase and I'd buy all over again. I just hope he doesn't outgrow it too soon.
