The unit seems to be solidly built and is quite compact. Comes in a nice storage bag. Quality seems good. The battery set up is a little cumbersome but it is functional. The unit performs awesome at night with its infrared night vision. We tried it the first time at night in about 23 feet of water. As soon as the camera reached the bottom a lobster attacked the unit and it was all caught on the TV screen. Even thought it was pitch black we could see clear as day with the camera. For the price this is quite a nifty unit and works as advertised. It would have been nice if they had some kind of mount to enable you to affix it to a long pole for better maneuverability as trying to orient the camera just by rotating the wire can be a little tedious.

All and all, it works great for what I purchased it for which it to look at my boat underwater for damages to the props or to check to see if we got lobster traps entangled in the shafts. The entertainment part of just checking out the ocean bottom for fun is a nice a bonus.

I was a little leary of ordering this product just because it's a couple of hundred dollars cheaper then any of the others out there. I got the product, and was exactly as it is described. I've used it three times since recieving it, and works wonderfully. Very nice product for the price :)

The connector wire from the battery to the unit caught fire and melted the second time I turned it on.

There is no information on the box or instruction manual who even makes this product.

I'd spend some extra money and get a safer unit. No one wants a fire on their boat.
