The recording quality is nice for not being fully studio. It is nice to play and listen to the unique sounds of the Mbira. It is a great starter CD to begin building your collection of multicultural music.

This is an awe inspiring piece of musicianship recorded at integral cross roads of Zimbabwe's turbulent background. The mbira players seem to capture this turbulence and turn it into works of beauty and grace. This is just wonderful.

it will never make the best seller list, but it is just what I needed. I bought an Mbira recently and was clueless about playing it. Great project for long New England winters
