About the Author

Tracey Ann Schofield lives in rural Ontario with her husband, Jonathan, and their three young children, Matthew, Patrick and Stephanie. The family recently bid farewell to suburban life and bought a riverfront bungalow on six-and-a-half acres of land. One massive renovation later, they are delighted, charmed, captivated and enchanted with country living, in spite of an impossibly extensive/expensive recreational wish list–-snowmobiles, dirt bikes, horses, a boat . . . . Tracey remains close to parents Barb and Paul, literally and figuratively (they live less than three minutes apart), and curbs her insatiable appetite for new pets. She keeps busy mowing the lawn in summer, shoveling the snow in winter, loving her family year-round and writing whenever she gets a minute. Tracey works from home as a freelance editor, writer and creative writing facilitator.
