Kids will find the approach more inviting than the usual nonfiction fact-filed, numbers-oriented guides.

The text is easy to read and the photos are intriguing. This book is the best I've found for Rome, grade 3. They can read and understand it for themselves. And the breezy, chatty travel asides from author Landau make fun reading too. Highest recommendation.
