Kennedy enriches his account with anecdotes drawn from his own experiences as well as those of others. He also offers a straightforward look at a highly competitive industry and stresses the need for applicants to be persistent and seriously committed. One chapter lists types of positions available. A directory of cruise lines with addresses is included. Sound, common-sense advice is given in chapters entitled "How to Apply," "How to Follow Up," and interviewing. An up-to-date, useful book.

Such books make me wonder how is it possible someone to sell a product and DOESN'T care at all how incredibly outdated and useless is its content/quality. Well, then its up to us to think carefully for what we will give our hard earn money. I want a reliable and up-to-date book and that's why will NOT recommend this one because since 1994 it is good for nothing.
