This review is from: Exploring Death Valley (Paperback)
This may be a slender volume written a long time ago but the descriptions and information are still good despite that. The writing is crisp and the directions short so a good map is needed for those who wish for adventure. Sections for trips by car, trips by jeep (most 4wd rigs with good clearance), and hikes on foot cater to most visitors' needs. Some road closures have occurred since publication so check with rangers and obey all road closed signs.
