This review is from: Exploring Electronic Devices (The Saunders College Publishing series in electronics technology) (Hardcover)
Exploring Electronic Devices by Mark E. Hazen - Many experienced engineers and technicians say they wish they had this book when they went through college or tech school. Students value this book highly and keep it as a reference and continuous resource. This college-level text covers discretes, linear ICs, electronic circuits and systems, along with linear and switching power supplies/regulators. It is the only modern, up-to-date, college-level textbook that includes a final chapter on high-power vacuum tube circuits and theory - a topic shunned by others through fear of association with out-dated texts. This is the only truly complete Electronics textbook both in coverage and approach. Theory, analysis, troubleshooting, and design are covered every step of the way. Any college-level program not using this text is lagging behind the times and cheating their students
