I know I'm not the only one who has been attracted to the subject of feng shui, only to be frustrated by difficult esoteric instructions that might as well be written in Chinese (a language I don't speak). This book was the one that FINALLY made everything clear. The basics are authentic, yet there is nothing difficult about the process. It allowed me to make my space a soulful reflection of my true self - without stressing! Thanks to Shawne Mitchell, I really feel at HOME.

I'd always avoided studying feng shui because I felt that it was too complicated. This book carefully explains the basic concepts in ways that made it a lot less intimidating. Reading this book opened my mind to new possibilities about arranging my home so that I can better realize my personal and spiritual potential.

I've started to read a number of books about Feng Shui in the past, but was never able to really get through one until I picked up Exploring Feng Shui. Mitchell and Gunning write in language that makes understanding these previously foreign concepts easy, and applicable in everyday life. I felt as though I could actually use some of the suggestions in the book to look around my apartment and make some simple changes. I also liked the examples given in the book, which helped me to better understand the principles of feng shui. I have recommended and given this book to a number of friends, some who have feng shui knowledge, and some who have never heard of it. They're all thanking me now!

What I loved about "Exploring Feng Shui" were the simple suggestions for coping with my old belongings. Her four box system of "keepers", "tossers", "givers" and "thinkers" is just brilliant! It really helped me while cleaning out my apartment. It finally empowered me to get rid of some hideous gifts from past lovers, family members and friends.
The energy in my house has completely changed!
I recommend this book to everybody who is ready for some serious change in their lives!

I haven't lived in my apartment very long. There was something about my room that didn't feel like home yet. Reading Exploring Feng Shui helped me pinpoint exactly what wasn't working in my living space.

I really like this book. It is simple. It is tangible. It takes the mystique out of Feng Shui and makes it something that is attainable as well as magical. Shawne and Stephanie do a great job at guiding the reader not only through the physical space of their home, but their life. They point out how physical space is a reflection of emotional space and how both can be enhanced thru minor changes, adjustments and "cures" in the home and work space.

Since I've read Exploring Feng Shui, I've experimented with my work space making a few enhancements and changes to my desk. There was something bothering me about the way it was set up that I couldn't put my finger on. I followed the recommendations in the book and it is SUCH a better space to work in! It seems to flow much easier and I feel more productive. I've also met a new client out of the blue. (hooray) I'm really looking forward to working on my home.

Its a fun, cool and interesting read and it really works!!
