I first read Dr. O'Leary's book when it first came out. I was familiar with some of the things he discussed, but learned much that I did not konw. Anyone who has been a mainstream scientist or engineer, and who discovered the kind of paranormal and other phenomena that are discussed in this book will be able to relate to Dr. O'Leary's story of amazement, acceptance, and advocacy. I read two of his other books too, and am looking forward to reading his last book. I had been researching many of these things since i first read Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain in 1971, but it wasn't until 1989 that I began to see what might underlie many of these phenomena. It was the book by Richard Hoagland on the Monuments of Mars that reawakended my interest in pyramids, and the book The Secret Power of Pyramids by Bill Schul and Ed Petit that provided the clues that let me figure out what might be going on. Therefore, when I found EXPLORING INNER AND OUTER SPACE, I was thrilled to find that I could explain many of the mysteries in there too. I had to find, buy, and read hundreds of books looking for additional clues and supportive evidence during the time period between 1989 and 1994. This was before AMAZON.COM let us click our way to what we needed. Back then it involved driving all over Eastern Mass. looking for book stores to locate what I needed. Unfortunately, a bedbug problem forced me to have to toss almost all of my books, so I was delighted to find that I could get another copy of Brian O'Leary's book from AMAZON.COM. If you are interested in the paranormal and the unexplained, this is the best single book to get to start your reading. He covers the ground beautifully, and his personal message about what we must do about these phenomena is something we all need to read and heed. I am looking forward to getting and reading his latest book.

Brian O'Leary has an unusually rich background of personal and professional experience which has cast him into the role of "Changemaster" for the Global Social Architecture. His writing is clear, well-organized and direct. He blends the esoteric with leading-edge science, technology, and poignant examples from from his own personal experience, he writes in a narrative style that is both compelling and provocative.
Retreating from former perspectives, gained as a NASA Scientist/Astronaut, Aerospace Consultant, and Ivy-League Academic, he has returned to earth in the role of genuine person, speaking in a language which is understandable and readable.
For anyone interested in gaining a broad-brush understanding of Quantum Physics and how it relates to Human Counsiousness, the Eco-logic of the Human Condition in the Global Biosphere, and the future Survival of the Human Race, this book embodies a fascinating literary journey into the depths of Inner and Outer Space.

Brian Todd O'Leary (born 1940) is an American scientist, author, and former NASA astronaut, who was a member of the sixth group of astronauts selected by NASA in August 1967. A remote viewing experience in 1979 and a near-death experience in 1982 initiated his departure from traditional science---particularly once he refused to work on military space applications. He is also the author of books such as The Second Coming of Science, The Energy Solution Revolution, Miracle in the Void: Free Energy, Ufos and Other Scientific Revelations, etc.

He wrote in the introduction to this 1989 book, "we are on the threshold of a major renaissance in outer and inner space. This book gives evidence on how this process is accelerating us into a Third Millennium that in no way will resemble the Second... This book meshes my experiences with a rapidly growing body of scientific findings that require that we radically change our paradigm. The new physics, biology and psychology all point to the reality of our interconnectedness at levels far more profound than the vast majority of us can acknowledge... evidence to support the newer view can no longer be ignored."
