Dan Appleman treads where others only glance,

"This eBook is a collection of 7 original columns written by best-selling author Dan Appleman for Pinnacle's Hardcore Visual Basic.NET newsletter." With those opening words in the eBook, you'd get the impression that the subject matter coverage would be light and/or shallow, like articles usually are... but Dan has really done a great job of delving into the depths of Cryptography, .NET String memory referencing, how to properly benchmark .NET code, etc. He's also added a few things to these versions of the articles that didn't appear in the original newsletter, so even if you own the original copies of the newsletter, you'll still want to get this eBook for the additional content. I consider this eBook a "must have" for anyone that is a .NET developer. Nowhere else will you get such expert knowledge at such a low cost... and you won't have to wade through a hundred pages of fluff to get to the good stuff. |
