Great guitar trio date,

More great jazz from the same trio (Kessell, Brown and Manne) that gave us the outstanding "Poll Winners" recording. This disc has a more adventurous range of material compared to the original Poll Winners recording, including songs from Miles Davis and Bobby Timmons. I don't like it quite as much as the original, but it is a wonderful session, and worth having if you enjoyed the original.

Swinging Trio,

As a guitarist myself I find this trio very, very good. I have bought four CDs with this group, The Poll Winners, and I guess that's all there is. So excellent, so swinging!
