This CD is a creative mix of funky rhythmic grooves. Can dance to it, or do a vigorous power vinyasa yoga to it. It is a wonderful blend of traditional eastern instruments and sounds, including "eastern voice" singing, with modern techno beats. I loved it. Listen to the samples - they give you a good flavor for the music so you can see if you like it or not before you buy.

Love this CD. I love the mixture of indian real traditional sounds and modern beat. Real percussion, sitar, organ, voices come in very smoothly. It is all layed out and thought of very good, quality of the work is incredible. Very worth listening. It will put you in the mood you would like to be in, you can meditate, practice yoga, think, make love or dance, it will all fit into the rythm.

the less seriously you take it, the more you'll like it,
This review is from: Export Quality (Audio CD)
Like others, I initially felt frustrated with the cheesy beats and blocky low-pass filters, why was the NY Times so impressed? Then I remembered the Soundz of India genre, and further factored in that NY-based insouciance - all power to those who don't think all exotic places like India must be Disneyworld-ized in order to be American-ized. Soon the structure of individual songs started to poke through. "Keep Rocking" has one of the cheesiest yet most magnificent breaks - "try and rock yourself in this position" indeed. I'd also recommend their previous Desi Vibes as more of the same (but harder to find).
