Book Description

October 20, 1998
As U.S. international trade approaches $2 trillion a year in combined exports and imports, the global marketplace is looking more and more attractive to entrepreneurs. Yet behind the glitter is a world filled with wildly complicated regulations and rapidly escalating competition.

Designed especially for newcomers, "Exporting & Importing" is a practical, easy-to-read, all-encompassing guide to every aspect of the changing international marketplace. It covers:
-- New regulatory information: how to comply with complex regulations, monitor transactions, maintain accurate records -- and eliminate the possibility of stiff fines.
-- Cost-effective trading methods: which business practices are working best for professionals in the field.
-- Step-by-step guidance: how to handle every transaction from start to finish -- with no costly mistakes or delays.
