When the local celebrity, Scarlett Flemming, dies, Vicky learns of Scarlett's shaky finances-and marriage. While canvassing an entire town of suspects and juggling three eligible suitors, she must stay one step ahead of a killer once she realizes she's no longer writing an obituary, but an expose!
Born in England, Hannah relocated to Los Angeles with her daughter and two cats in tow to pursue a career in screenwriting. Along the road to publication she has served as an obituary reporter, antique dealer, private jet flight attendant and Hollywood story analyst.
Hannah's Vicky Hill Mysteries (Berkley Prime Crime/USA) will also be published in the UK this summer with Constable & Robinson. As well as writing a fifth Vicky Hill, she is working on a new mystery series for Thomas Dunne Books/St. Martin's Press.
Hannah is currently serving on the judging committee for the 2012 Edgar Allan Poe Awards for the Mystery Writers of America. She teaches mystery writing and social media at UCLA in Los Angeles and still works full time for Davis Elen Advertising, a west coast advertising agency.
Hannah is married to a fellow writer. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, skiing and seriously good chocolate.
