Exposed! is a compilation of Watson's black & white work (darkroom and digital) and is a mix of both his private and commercial prints. His subjects are what the title derives from. Most of them have shaved their labia's and there is a noted focus on this area of their anatomy. Yet, this is not to be mistaken for porn, which often emphasizes the same thing. Watson's models are presented as beings of power, they make strong eye and facial contact and are not passive or in any way depersonalized. They are empowered by their bodies and their sexuality and control the situation themselves. This is a fabulous book, a wonderful artistic statement, and fantastic photography.
