Book Description

**A Charity Series Novella or a Stand Alone**

For almost four years, Kitty Langley has been part of a ‘mean girls’ group called the Bee Hives, the most hated and feared girls at West Windrake High. That is until she witnesses their relentless attack on her former childhood friend. Making a drastic decision, she takes a stand against the dreaded B’s and thus becomes their new enemy and number one target. Now an outcast, not only of the B’s but of the entire school, she will have to pull from her inner strength as she prepares for the persecution she will face in the name of revenge.
Reed Reynolds is not looking for trouble. He just wants to get through his senior year and work on his music in peace. But when he mistakenly kisses Kitty Langley at their annual Masquerade Dance, he is both appalled and intrigued, never having experienced a kiss so powerful. Reed soon finds himself drawn in by this new Kitty and her tolerance for her so called ‘deserved punishment’. But will he endanger himself to defend her against the B’s and the entire school in the name of honor—or more importantly, in the name of love?

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!! January 2, 2013
By Justine
Format:Kindle Edition
I recieved this Arc free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Reading this book was my pleasure. I love DeAnna Kinney's writing style. This book was a quick and easy read but with a strong message. I found a lot of truth to the story because tons of people deal with bullying on an everyday basis. I found this to be a pretty severe case of bullying, where the bullies not only physically bullied Kitty, but also mentally and psychologically. I just feel like so many readers would relate to this book whether they were the bully or bullied. I liked that Reed saw what was going on and knew it was wrong and did everything in his power to help Kitty. I'm glad they found each other or I don't know how far the bullies would have taken their torture.
I really respect Kitty for standing up to those mean girls even though she knew that it would make her life a living hell. I definitely would not have been able to endure what she had to go through. I'm glad that Kitty could take the bad and make it good. Reed also grew on me. He was the hero, the hot guy but didn't know it. I believe that if Reed hadn't have been there to help Kitty that the story may have ended differently, and not in a good way. I also liked Haley, even though she was mean to Kitty in the beginning I felt like she realized that being mean to Kitty was wrong and to do the right thing. As I loved how some characters from Charity's books made appearances.
I would recommend this book to everyone. DeAnna Kinney has a way of grabbing the reader and not letting go. I can't wait to see where Reed and Kitty's journey goes. Thanks again DeAnna for another spectacular read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST read for teens. January 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I was asked to review this book by the Author which i was happy to do so, because i have loved all her books. When i received this book i was in the middle of another one but i actually took a break from that book to read this one. I was not disappointed. This book is great. Its about bullying and standing up for yourself. This book has a great love story between two people who found love when they least expected to. The story of Kitty Langley was so touching and i cried in more then one part. Some were Happy tears, and others were i cant believe that tears. I loved the main characters Kitty, She is so strong but doesn't know it. I love the journey she goes on to find who she is and who she wants to be. Reed's character is wonderful i wish more people were like this. I also thought that it was amazing that the Author brought in her characters from Charity series(which is one of my favorites btw) Charity and Levi make an appearance in the book but not enough to over shadow the characters of this book. But it was great to see Charity and Levi again it made me want to read Charity Moon and Charity Rising again.

This book i would recommend for any young adult and any gender.

I will definitely be telling my friends to read this book.

This is a must read for anyone dealing with bullying or looking for a heart warming good book.

I cant wait to see more from this Author!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Exposing Kitty Langley January 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Exposing Kitty Langley is the story of a girl named Kitty who was a bully, when she sees a child hood friend being bullied by the leader of the Bee Hives; she takes a stand and her life changes. She no longer has the protection of the other bullies and everyone she hurt is ready to take their revenge. Reed Reynolds is a shy boy who just wants to go to school and write his music. When he looses a bet to a friend and accidentally ends up kissing Kitty instead of his friend Haley, then rescues Kitty from an attack all in the same night his priorities start to change. Reed wants to help Kitty, Kitty thinks she deserves what she is getting and doesn't want Reed hurt. Kitty is a young woman who spent close to four years torturing people, but she eventually does do the right thing. I loved Kitty she was so strong, she decides she deserves the abuse she is receiving and doesn't do anything about it. She pushes Reed away to protect him and doesn't let anybody see how badly she is really being hurt. Reed is just a really wonderful guy, he doesn't even know Kitty and he helps her. I really loved this book, the two main characters interacted well together and their love story was sweet. I also really loved the message behind the story, bullying is not a joke and DeAnna did a really good job writing about the consequences and the effects it has on people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bullies July 30, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great book about standing up to bullies. Only problem was the spelling, I wish someone would read and correct the spelling before the book is published. I would even be interested in doing that as it irritates me to no end when books are published that way.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME! May 20, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a moving, young adult story about devoted friendship, love, betrayal, and loyalty.

Kitty Langley is a bully. She is one of the most hated girls at West Windrake High, and is an exclusive group called the Bee Hives, or the B's. They're the mean girls. No one messes with them unless they want trouble. Bunnie Stevens, is the head B, and the most feared girl in school. When Kitty butts heads with her defending her friend's honor, drastic things happen. Kitty is kicked out of the group and made a target. The plot thickens and I found myself frantically flipping through the pages of my kindle.

I think you can learn a lot from this story and I love how the author dealt with the bullying issue. I really believed Kitty is a strong person and I adored her. She is inspiring, brave, and loyal. I really believe Kitty learned from her mistakes and will become a better person for it. We all make bad choices in our lives and consequently, we learn from them. I found myself rooting for Kitty every step of the way. I especially rooted for her when she met her love interest Reed. I so wanted these two to become a couple. It's just such a sweet story that warmed my heart.

This is a heart-touching and powerful story that I couldn't get enough of. This is definitely a must read book and I give it five stars without a doubt!
