Notes on textual questions and special problems are correlated with the expository units; transliteration and translation of Semitic and Greek words make the more technical notes accessible to readers unacquainted with the biblical languages. In matters where marked differences of opinion exist, commentators, while stating their own convictions, deal fairly and irenically with opposing views. This is a great generally conservative commentary series. Even though it is fairly old (original copyright is 1981), I find it extremely useful in order to get a quick overview of the major issues found within the text.

Volume 12, a lot of commentary in one book, haven't read all of it yet, more of a reference for Bible lessons. Morris, Burdick, Blum, Barker and Johnson are a great combination of writers. Great price, quick delivery, well packaged. Completely satisfied!
