This roduct is not for beginners. It assumed a level of knowledge that I did not possess. It was not at all useful to me. Donated it to the public library for use by individuals who are more advanced than I am.

I ordered this companion book expecting to also receive 4 accompaning CD's. Surprise! I only received the book that is not of much value without the CD's or cassettes. Watch what you order!!

I love going to Spain with my wife, who is a native of Madrid. This book has everything (idioms, costums, authentic color photos) plus a great system to learn easely as you have fun. Effective ways to learn grammar too. And my wife says I am totally right. For once!

This course is the best course for an intermediate learner. It is much more interesting and comprehensive than living language.
It contains a lot of authentic material (songs etc.) to help you understand Spanish and expose you to the 'real' language.
I find most other courses way too basic.

This program is not for the beginners, but for those who have had some basics. It gives a quick boost to his fluency. The program does not follow the usual lesson approach. It goes right into the meat of Spanish conversation. I have tried many programs of Spanish converasation, but this is different and I like it. Warning! The title had said "CDs", but what I received were tapes. They should revise the ad.
