This review is from: Extech 42510 Mini Wide Range -58 Degree to 1000 Degree Farenheit and -50 Degree to 538 Degree Celsius Infrared Thermometer (Tools & Home Improvement)
I find myself using this in many cases--to see how hot my skillet is before I start cooking pancakes, to see how low I can have my computer fans run without making the inside of the case too warm, and to look for areas where my wall was poorly insulated. Plus, it is just fun to play with. As far as I can tell it is very accurate as I tried testing it against what another thermometer was saying.

I use this for ghost hunting investigations with my group. It works great for tracking cold spots. My hubby likes it for working on his truck. I let him use it sometimes.. lol! Nice piece of equipment whatever you use it for! Extech is my preferred brand as I find them very reliable
