The Extech HT30 Heat Stress WBGT Meter has a built in RS-232 interface with the optional PC software and an auto power off function with and override option. The heat stress index measures how hot it feels when the humidity is combined with the temperature, air movement, and radiant heat. The black globe temperature (TG) monitors the effects of the direct solar radiation on an exposed surface. Also, the in/out function displays the WGBT value with out without any direct sun exposure.
