he fed his Frankenstein!,
This review is from: Extended Versions (Audio CD)
Even if all you want is a 14+ minute long version of Frankenstein, this cd is worth it. Yet, you get more than that. It dwarfs the studio original version in everyway.
Rick D. does an awesome rendition of Hang On Sloopy, and the albino-man kicks out a wild ride on Free Ride. R&R Hoochie Koo is worth a loud crank! The cd has a nice concert feel too it -- not too much crowd but enough crowd and enough band/crowd interaction to make it feel like you are there. For those of you who already have every frickin' live cd issued, you probably already have these songs. For the rest of us, it is a nice way to let someone else compile some gems for us. Enjoy! [And you'll only understand my title if you dare listen to A. Cooper live.]

I have heard several "Extended Version" releases and this is far and away the best. The last 3 songs - Hang on Sloopy, Rock and Roll, Hootchie Koo & a 14 minute version of Frankenstein - are well worth the price of the CD by themselves. Edgar & Rick are in fine form & play numerous extended solos. These recordings were apparently cherry picked from 2 concerts in Tokyo with an appreciative, but not overly rowdy crowd. Sound quality is very good.

The CD is worth it just for its 15 minute long rocking rendition of Frankenstein live.
