I am a long time TESLA fan. I can still remember driving in my '79 Camaro listening to the local rock radio station in the mid-80's when they began playing a song by a new band called "Little Suzi". I loved how they combined the acoustic guitar at the beginning, then rocked out on the rest of the tune. Kind of like another early favorite of mine, HEART. I was hooked once I purchased Mechanical Resonance. It was fantastic from start to finish.

My wife bought me this disc because she thought that it was something I didn't have. Since it said on the package that it was recorded "Live" I knew it wasn't just a compilation cd of their music.

Once I began listening to it, I recognized some of Jeff Keith's banter between song's, and that he mentioned La Cross (Wisconsin) and St Louis. It was then that I realised this was simply a shorter, edited version of another BMG release: "Standing Room Only" from the 2001 Reunion Tour. That disc is a full 77 minutes long. The Extended Versions: Encore Collection is only 55 minutes long, featuring only 10 songs. There are No liner notes at all. Nothing about where or when it was recorded, etc.

This disc isn't bad for the price. It was less than $6.00 at our local Wal-mart, but you'll get three more songs on Standing Room Only, plus an 8 page booklet of photos/liner notes.

Do not by this CD if you own Standing Room Only Or Re-Plugged Live They are all the same show Just Different packaging. Another way the record company's Make an extra buck

Extended Versions contains the same music as Standing Room Only, minus three songs. So if you already own Standing Room Only or Replugged, then skip this, but if you don't own either one this is a good purchase. Ten of Tesla's best known songs for less money than you can eat lunch on.

This Is live Rock-n-Roll At It's Very Best. Al-though Tesla Didn't have A Ton Of Great Songs. The Ones On Here Are All Ace's. The Days Gone past Are Still Ten Times Better Then Any Music Put Out Today.Rock On My Friends, Rock On!
