Not as good as other Stoner novels,
By
This review is from: Extenuating Circumstances (Hardcover)
The Harry Stoner private detective series is one of the better ones around. Stoner is a hardboiled P.I. from Cincinnati who gets involved in some sometime brutally violent stories. "Extenuating Circumstances" is no exception, but it stretches plausibility a bit too much. Also Harry's comes off as a rather colorless character in this one. Stoner's never bad, but he's usually better than this. |
